Thinking about purchasing one of these this week. Anyone have a picture of one on a red L ? Any feedback on quality, ease of installation etc. would be appreciated.

 

I just had mine installed last night. At the factory here in Southern California.

The sales crew was very nice. the product looks awsome BUT
heheh there is always a BUT. I have called them several times last week askikng about the cover they kept saying ya they have one in stock. I had some money problems damn Tax man was slow getting me my return that is why I had to make several calls. Anyways when I get down there the cover they had in stock had a few bubbles in the top I was a bit mad that they did not say that before I drove down there.

It ended up they had an old style with the light bar in it So I took that one. They installed it and of corse the light had a few bulbs that would not light DOHHHHHH. They ripped out the old light and put in a new one and well they were rushed but this morning on a closer look they did a crappy job on putting in the replacement light. I have already called and they said bring it in and they will fix it. They never could put down the phone it was ringing like crazy. They had a few calls that were from unhappy customres and were very helpful and willing to do whatever it took to take care of and make them happy. So I was impressed at least with the first look. I will let you know how they do on fixing mine.

Also be ready the edge around the bottom of the lip where they trim the covers does not have paint on it. You cant see it with the lid down. One person was pissed about that but its not a big deal to me a black felt pen and no one will notice.

I dont have pics yet and my truck is black.

Thanks for your detailed reply. I'd be a little dissapointed if they shipped that thing cross country and it had any kind of defect. It's going to cost $180 shipping. Spoke to a guy named Jerry on the phone out there. I'll let him know that pictures will be posted on this forum and a lot of future business might rely on my experience

several have had problems with the LED's burning out also..
long story short..
someone found the place that makes the LED's, and they shipped us good ones.. no problems since then.

i have a horrible memory, so maybe the guy that dug up the info will chime in..
