Her's a tip to the guy that wanted to touch up my Snuglid at WFC

After Paint, make a small Block from Balsa Wood and use 2000 to Color Sand,
Then Mirror Glaze # 4, Then Mirror Glaze # 7, Then Wax.

reality1, can you please tell me what color sanding is exactly?

Rich, I would also like to see your step by step procedure doing the touch up. Thanks

nostreetracing,

After touch up, you want to make sure the area is completly flat. (even)
The Factory doesn't put on very much Clear, so by using 2000, lightlly sand area, if surface isn't even, you can add another coat if low in touch up area, or use small block if it is too high.

On my show cars, I use about 6 coats of Clear. I can then sand without fear of going through Clear Coat. I can spray a fine (mist) of a contrasting Color and t I then sand with 2000 until it (the mist) removes evenly.

Remember, Factory Paint does't have enough Clear to get completely smooth(flat) with out going through the Clear. That is why you use a very small block, preferably, you want to be sanding the touch up paint, not the surrounding area. I think in touch up, it is easier to add another coat than to remove a High spot. I hope this answers your questiojn LMK
