if it does not effect computer maybe add your idea to mine?
i see truckperformance.com has the new volant complete air induction unit in stock now=volant part# 19954
for 1999 thru 2002 models,has anyone used this one yet?
have any feedback, it looks sweet to me! here is the link=

i do have a chip and havent seen any problems with computer, also no service engine lights..there is a volant post not to many pages back, might shed some light on it....

My setup is almost the exact same, I've got two 2 1/2 hoses in the exact same spot and am llok for nice scoops.

Only difference is I ran 1 hose to the lower grill and the other hose to the upper grill.

[B]i think i'll take a trip to the local junkyard=might find some old scoops on various junkers?
Also would it not be ,better to mount scoop in front of radiator behind grill =radiator fan if you still run stock fan will help pull cool air into scoop?

Found a great source for your hoses and scoop material's= go to local harware store or wally world ,whatever and look around in the shop vac acsessory area, = scoops and hoses , got mine to work fine>
