If your on this board, just wanted to say hi

Saw your truck today on southfield road when i was on my way back to my store and waved.

Nice truck,,, gotta say i hate the salt though,, i cringe everytime i let my L get dirty like it is today, but there's just no way to keep them clean in the winters around here without washing them twice a day.

Hey

As I passed your truck, I noticed yours was much cleaner looking and almost didn't want to pass for embarresment. Funny, there's just no hope for a bolt in winter looking good for more than 24 hours. See ya around.

I agree, i've always wished to have a truck as clean as some of the southerners on this board but its definately a lot tougher up here.

If you or anyone on this board ever sees my truck parked right behind the Big Apple Bagel store over in allen park, as long as we dont look so busy, feel free to stop in and say hi, I love these trucks and its always good to see other L owners around.

I was sorta embarrassed to, i was eating in the truck,,,, trying to keep mustard from getting on my seats I was successful, but still scarey

Question Who was this

Hey when I was leaving work and getting on 696 from Telegraph I saw a white bolt heading north an Telegraph. It was an 01 w/ the stock wheels on it (no snow tires). Just wondering who it was............actually I have saw alot of bolts lately on my daily commute. Hopefully in the spring we will be able to put a face with our trucks

At our woodhaven store we have a somewhat large parking area that i've thought about using in the spring for a possible downriver or detroit area Lightning show of some sort,, just an idea though it would be great to meat the people in this area and i'd be more then happy to spare my parking lot for it.

whitetoast, I'd be up for cruising at your Woodhaven store. Do you ever stop by the Friday night cruise at the Lincoln Park shopping center? Me, T-Bone and Gitchi Manitou are usually there until they kick us out. Something about our trucks not being old enough. Hmmph! It's a factory hot-rod. You should see all the people that stop by and take a look.

I keep meaning to stop by and say hi on my way home from work, but keep forgetting. Maybe this week.

Hey i'm all for it,, especially if anyone sees my truck there afternoons from 3 till 6,, thats when we're just getting all the closing work done.

Chainsaw,, i've never been to that car show, but i do know what you are talking about, several of my older customers go there with their rides. i think one of them if named rob,, they've got an old buick they drive up there when its nice out. I've never been able to check out the show yet though, usually busy or working when thats been going on though.

I do have a friend who just solf his 67 cougar though, he used to be up there all the time,, his name was Pavlos,, it was a nice powder blue with a four barrell carb, used to love cruising in that car.

whitetoast11,

Let me know when if you decide to have a Lightning show at your Woodhaven location, I would love to come out for it.

Come out and join us this summer in Lincoln Park, It is always good to meet another L owner.

I have drove mine without winter tires, but then again we did not have of a much a winter so far.

I always see this red one sitting along side 696 service drive between 75 and camball. He used to have a white cobra to, wondering if anyone knew who that was.
