Tailgate

I was wondering what kind of weather striping I could use to keep the rear of the L dry. Not sure where to look and how to apply it...any help? L8tr

Are talking about the vertical gaps on either side of the tailgate, between the body and the tailgate?

If this is the case my 97 F150 had a rubber flap that clossed that gap, not water tight but close. My parents have a 98 F150 that does not have these. I guess this was a cost cutting measure by Ford, not to put them on any more. (My 2000 F150 did not have them either)

Nothing says that you can not order the parts from the dealer and install them. I have considered it but have not followed through with it on the L.
