Bullitt Fuel Door

There was a post a few weeks ago on a Ford Dealer that had a good price on Bullitt fuel doors. I flipped back about 30 pages but could not find it. Anyone remember what the dealer or link was? Seems like the price was around $84.

I posted a while back. The fuel door was about $75. I don't have the part number. But you can only get it in one color (brushed aluminum), and they only make it for the Mustang. For our trucks it mounts upside down.

Since I have a black truck I painted the door and surround area black, and left the nuts silver. Looks very nice! I'll have pictures whenever I get the roll developed.

Some people have said that the door fits on easily, some didn't. Mine did, but it did not fit perfectly flush with the body(I have a flareside). I added some small plastic standoffs where the rubber standoffs are for the standard door and that corrected it nicely.

These are the standoffs that I used.

I clipped off the lttle tab on the bottom. They also sell spacers on the website, but I used the standoffs because I had them.

This is the website where you can order them.

part #161 0170 $1.38 for a dozen

Or just go to a local computer shop and they might just give you a few.

I pay $24 dollars for bullitt fuel doors at the local dealership here. Thats no special pricing either, just how much they charge for them. I picked up 10 of them and sold them on ebay for 80 bucks each. You might wanna try a few local dealerships before buying them from the other places.
