svt360, I saw that same show. Pretty cool. I'm wondering if you can use them on the exterior trim pieces, like the bed rails or side steps.

I just painted my gauge pillar this week. You should use a fine scotch brite pad to scuff the interior plastic up first, then clean it with "Plastic Prep". The paint I used is made by "SEM". It's made specifically for vinyls and plastics. It's an elastomeric paint, so it won't crack if the plastic piece flexes. I was very pleased with the results that I got with it.

Quicksilver02 is right on the money Listen to him thats how you do it, and SEM is the RIGHT stuff to be using.

Wash it down with "Wax and Grease Remover" just before you paint it. Don't touch it after you clean it as skin oil may keep the paint from sticking. Any automotive paint store has rattle can paint for plastic.
