coats tire balancer

hey i just ordered tires from tire rack,i remeber seeing a web site where you can search to find the coats 9700 tire balancer,does anyone now where this site is??

ps im not sure if its the 9700 but it does the best job of balancing

Find a shop that has one, and insist on an "OE" match mount, based on run-out measurements of the bare rims. Doing this is extra work and a PITA for the shop, so they'll probably want to charge you extra. But it's well worth it.

I use balancer made by Snap-On. It doesn't use a drive motor to speed balance the tires...all you have to do is spin the tires by hand and it lets you know when to let off. When selected, it will give you the true size of weights to use instead of the typical .25/quarter of an ounce interval measurement. The circuit board is made out of a special resin that will maintain accuracy even in hot humid weather. Truly a great machine.
