autotap help
Hi
I just recived my Autotap and I am having problems. I have owned and used an AT1 on my 99 Camaro SS for over a year now and had no problems.
I plug the AT2 into the same computer and it will not read the VIN of the truck I manualy enter it and only get a few items to monitor and the ones I can chose do not read right. Things like throtle position will say 20% and I don't have my foot on the pedal
. I tried to use it on a 2001 Ranger with the same results. I even removed and reinstalled the software and tried a friends lap top that runs his AT1 autotap fine. And it would not connect right.
It does say it is connected. I dropped ATAP some mail but thought someone here might have a clue.
I also hit there web site and it said to delete a file if it was on the computer I did that and it did not help.
Thanks again

thanks
I guess it is different than with the SS it read 0-100 on the throtle
And also I had all kinds of cool things like it would show missfires for each plug and all sorts of other good tidbits of info.
Someone reminded me that the DOS ver works much better so I am going to load that up and give it a shot
