Better or Worse Driver......Poll

For those that are coming from a regular (low power) vehicle, do you feel that the L. has made a difference in your driving habits ?

My last vehicle was a relatively slow 4 x 4 truck.

Nowadays it seems like no gap in traffic is too small , I am willing take more chances and the average speed has gone up considerably as well--Ya I know, must be pre-mid-life crisis.

First to admit, I'm a worse driver

Got to agree with you, I am a much safer driver in my VW than my L.

im better with the L than a slower, lesser car to me.
reason being a slower car im just pulling out in front of people in the L im never in their way..
in a lesser car i really dont care in the L i baby it so much and dont want it in the shop that is always in the back of my mind....

and its just plain better

Thumbs up

Good question.

The vehicles performace potential is higher, so I am able to take 'shots' in traffic that I wouldn't normally take.

BUT. . .

The fear of having it totalled by some white-haired snowbird while messing around in traffic tempers my desire to go *****-to-the-wall everywhere.

---> The truck enables me to be a better driver.

Later,

Cool

In traffic I think I am a more carefull driver with the L... Merging is much more fun with the L though...

Give me a nice long stretch of road without traffic and all bets are off...

My old truck was a '98 Ram. It couldn't accelerate, stop, or take curves very fast. The L can . I now: try to beat stop lights, race ahead to merge, and turn at higher speeds more often. All in all, I am probably a less safe driver.

I'm a horrible, terrible, wicked driver. But, I'm having fun, so who gives a rat's patooie?

City driving and bumper to bumper highway traffic, I drive like a little BIT$H! Careful, and in the middle lane to avoid idiots on either spectrum of the right and left lanes.

Highway though, since I have the potential, to pass just about everything, I drive a lot faster, merge a lot faster, and pass a lot more, on any lane. All safely though.

So overall, I think it's made me a better driver!

I do just about anything to stay away from the other crazies on the road. You decide, better or worse.

Boy I'm glad I'm not the only one who drives there L like a crazy bad man all the time.

the only thing I really watch out for is the nasty roads, with the drop it can get scary some times.

In the cut and thrust driving in the LA area, NOONE can out run the Lightning for the next opening!

Does that answer your question?
