adjusting rear sway bar....
adjusting rear sway bar....
I bought a lowering kit from So-Cal speed shop last summer, it comes with adjustable end links for the rear sway bar. I was reading an ad for Steeda's adjustable rear sway bar which said that it can be adjusted for better launches, and was wondering if anyone knew how to adjust it for better launches at the track. all the instructions tha came with the lowering kit say is to adjust it to 3 threads in on each side for stock. any help would be appreciated.
thanks, Shawn

Sorry, I haven't heard of any 'tweaking' of the rear bar just the front--where you can either undo the ends and tie them out of the way or better yet, remove the front bar entirely--allowing for quicker weight transfer to the rear tires.

I see your answer to problems are to get the torches....whle mine is to get a bigger hammer
I'm doing fine. got the new pulley and 90 mm mass air on the truck

Hmmm...
I'm no expert, but I think you want to loosen the front sway bar to maximize weight transfer, and tighten the rear bar to equalize the 'hit' to the rear tires, similar to an airbag setup.
Looking at that picture, I wonder if you were to replace the upper joint with a non-pivoting downlink, would it turn it into a upper link traction device?

Switched to NGK's Shawn. (TR-5's)
I am going to keep the 2 lb. pulley for now. Truck is really
running strong on it.
Quaker opens in April, I have the latest schedule, call me
sometime.
