The coils wrap around the inside firm against the walls. Here is a pic of the windshield washer tank if anyone wants to see it.

I forgot about the other questions. About the tech inspector, I'll tell him that I have fastened it from underneath. I'm sure he wont believe me so then I'll tell him to pull it out. If he can actually budge it then he is one hell of a strong man that I wouldn't have messed with to begin with. Also, I can switch my chip out w/out taking out the computer like ICULOKN said. Lets see, the only other thing I can think to say about the box is that it has a drain plug on the bottom and it loves to eat ice.

You just have to remove the battery if you need to get the 10mm bolt out. I can change mine without removing that so its not a issue for me....
???? --that sounds like 'magic'--please explain how this is done..............

Here is an interpretation of the NHRA rule book.

http://members.tripod.com/~Mojo_Page/Race.htm
Battery Relocation:
Relocating the battery to the passenger side of the trunk will help traction and weight transfer. NHRA requires a steel hold down bracket, 3/8” hold down bolts, a master disconnect on the positive cable, and a firewall between the trunk and passenger compartment.
You may get lucky and never get bothered. But if you ever get near the finals of a money race your competitors may get you disqualified for unsafe modifications.

I understand the battery box if you relocate the battery to the rear but we are not relocating it, we're just sliding it back a few inches. Either way, it shouldn't take a genious to figure out a way to secure it to the truck. If I decide to every run in a event then I'll be sure to do it.
