New best time

I usually put my tires and wheels in my freinds car when I race after i put the ET Streets on, but he raced this time, so the 1st run was with all my stuff in my truck including the stock wheels/tires, jack, various tools, and sub box. The 2nd run I convinced my two friends to each take 1 tire - felt bad for weighing them down but there was nowhere else safe to put them and I REALLY wanted to run w/the reburned program.

13.0 Is my best so far - and I think when I get the TR5's, take off my spare, change my dirty oil, and don't have a 3/4 tank of gas.......I might break into the 12's.

We are close........

in mods but you don't have a pulley? I'd be surprised if you get into the 12s without at least 3lbs of added boost. Lightening(LOL) up your Lightning will help a lot.

Lightninrod -
That is exactly my plan - I dont have anything against pullies, but it has been my goal ever since my first mod to get into the 12's without extra boost. If its 12.99 thats fine with me

RA6870 -
I might be going next weekend if I can get LFP (house of speed) to do my plug change by friday. I'll keep you informed.

Question: why do you think my truck bogged down and died on my 2nd burnout? I had the boost solenoid unplugged, and didn't really do anything different...just my normal burnout and it just died - I started it back up again and it ran fine...

JBL,

You can get 12's without a pulley. I know for a fact Y2KBolt has been, and Lariat4X4 has. Good luck man!! Good to hear about your new best!

It's a 'conspriracy'! No kiddin'--that happened to me to this Sat. at the track--twice--dead-shut off as I was screamin' down the track. On my 4th pass, I ran a 19.xxx@43.xxLOL--the honda in the other lane ran a 22.xxx@77.xx--I was coastin'! I think mine was caused by chip-contact mismatch?

Thumbs up

Good times, keep up the good work. Have you had the V-Rod to the track to see what it would do?

Thanks guys

HDMLNIUM -
I'm not the one w/the V-Rod - I can't remember who that was....I do have a Ridley (Ridley Thunder - matched to truck) and a Harley FXDLR but not a V Rod.

I wish

Anyone else's truck mysteriously die while at the track?
