4# lower pulley belt options

I know the Gates part # is k080670 and is 28mm x 1715mm
Can someone tell me the Goodyear part #?
Or any other brand?

Reason being, I need one by tomorrow evening and the Gates belt is not in stock at my local O'Rileys

Thanks!

Lightbulb

Why are you changing belts. All them longer ones will slip sooner or later and probably sooner.
Just knock the lower tit off the back of the idler pulley and force the stock belt back on. It goes on easier if you, once you get it started on the top pulley turn the top pulley clockwise by putting a wrench on the nut on the front of the pulley. Mine works fine with the stock belt and doesn't slip.

Noel, thats what I'v been running (stock belt) for the last 5 months. Jim & Shawn recommended I go one size larger on the belt when they were installing the 4# pulley but the parts store was sold out. The stock belt works fine but i thought I'd just put the belt they recommended while I am changing them.

FWIW, NAPA and O'Riley both have Gates belts with the exact same part #'s on them, just different lables.

Stock serp. access. belt: #080991 $45.99
Stock blower belt: #080660 $37.99
4# pulley blower belt: #080670 $37.99

*I am sure this has been posted before but with the search feature off it might be good info for the newby's and the old farts *

Question

Well, I called up there when I was putting on my pulley and "someone" who answered the phone said the stock belt was fine. Somebody up there needs to get there story straight. I doubt very seriously if the best solution is "either one." Either the stock belt is best or a bigger belt is best. Which one is it?
