New motor's in and running fine.
As some of you may know my 01 L (code named "Ole Smokey") had a bit of an oil consumption problem and smoked a bit on start up. Well the new motor has been installed and is running fine. Took the tech 11 hours to do the swap (pays 11.5) and he was quite pleased with how easy the job went. So with 4,500 miles on the clock we are back to square one with break in procedures.

glad to hear ole smokey is back up and runnin. Hopefully you can re-name her to something more positive..Was the work done at your dealership???? good luck with her........JR
ps: maybe silver would have been the way to go
