unless your planning on having the tranny completely flushed, stick with stock Mercon.
Mixing the two is not a good idea.
There are varying opinions on this as to 'which is better.' Stock Mercon for me.

I thought some guys here have had excellant results with synthetic. With the plug in the torque convertor I think we can get most of the old fluid out... Just thought I would check. I do have a B&M pan so the draining of the pan is easy... thanks
I have run Mobile 1 synthetic since 1k miles, I now have 14k. My truck has performed excellent with no transmission problems
I took mine to one of the quick change oil places where they used a machine that completely pumps out all the old and fills it with the new. Sorry but I don't remember how many quarts it took.
