Polished VS. chromed

I want my rims in chrome whats the difference
between them.is the finish the same and whats
cheaper to do,and could Ipolish them myself

Its what every you like i guess........? no diff realy the cromed mite be stronger....? and bolth are the same clean time......? just get them allready cromed you will save money that way.. check out Ebay or look around here......

You dont want to polish them yourself unless you have done it before and have a whole lot of time to waist. Chrome is a cover over the aluminum, and polished is the actual aluminum. Cleaning polished to me is a pain in the a$$, when chrome for the most part can be wiped off.

Like mbrown said, polished aluminum is waaaay too much work to keep polished.. go with chromed aluminum....JR

I've had both and would never do anything but chrome! If you wax it, the chrome is very easy to keep clean.
