Chip question...

My 2001 L had a CXN1 computer in ti. My 2002 has aa ABU2 computer. My question; will a chip work from the 01 in the 02?

I don't think so, but I am sure one of the more experienced guys will confirm or correct me soon.

You'll need it reflashed to the 2002 program, but the chip module itself can be reused. You can't just plug it in as is.
