2001 owner's question

Those of you that have had your L serviced/fixed for the 85-95 mph vibration:
1. what was done for the fix?
2. DID it fix it?

Thanks

I have mine in now for this. The first thing they did was index the driveshaft---didn't help.
Now they are ordering the exhaust dampner.

PFA,

Haven't noticed it on mine but I'll check it out once the rain stops.

Whitebolt--There have been several of us that have this problem. Mine is from 90-95 mph and then goes away. It is worse when coming down from 95-90 mph. It has done it since new and alos happens while on a dyno. Take yours out and see if you notice it.

They just put on the exhaust dampeners on mine. It didn't solve the vibration - rather it dulled it at some speeds/RPMs, and amplified it at others. I'd almost say it's worse in some instances. I'm fed up and after having the L at the dealer 4 times in the past month, I am going to see if a Bassani cat-back will solve this once and for all.

After 3 trips to the dealer, having my stereo stolen and wheels scratched to H*LL I installed a Borla cat-back and don't have a vibration.

Easter Island,

I think that is the first L I have seen with a cap. Do you have any more pics?
