Nick name from my Fraternity:
Goes something like this: went to college in south FL. I am a Scuba diver and my Fraternity brothers could not believe that I went diving in NY. At the time I had like 400 or so dives in NY. So when they were drunk deciding my nickname someone said I dive in the radioactive water in NY. Something like radioactive material has a HALFLIFE. too much can remember

Even though you might think so, my name is not charlie and I am not 31 or nor have I ever been. 31Charlie is my army MOS, radio operator. It just happens to be a good screen name. Good thing I didnt do something crazy and go 11Bravo or something.

I've used this name for most any email addy for the last 8 years.
My name is Jay Capps . I flipped it around to read Sppac Yaj. That looked too wierd so I took some letters away and had Spacyj. The number 17 is lucky for me so it just has to be there. Plus after having that handle for so many years now it's easy to remember and quick to type!

Cool thread!

I'm the top cat in my business...Poured my first foundation when I was 13..My dad put the first 6 yards of concrete in it and then left me to finish it...ouch...I started working with him at 7 years old...He wanted to keep me out of trouble...He built homes and lots of stuff but went to just concrete work in 1960 cause the ones doing it were to slow for him...He taught me allot back then..

So...so in 1975 I formed my own company...did some workshop training as well in the 1990's...So I was called the ConcreteGuy and the ConcreteMan...We had many trucks as well over the years so I picked up some ideas from my experiences with them in my business...You need learn fast or you pay $$...

I raised a son that got a Civil Engineering degree...So its all to do with building the best you can and keep on learning...Never stop learning in whatever you do...in concrete if you do it right it will be there years after I'm gone...I hope to leave a sample of something others can follow in a good way...So I'm the ConcreteGuy...Not as good as your stories ...but its my story and I'm sticking to it !!

Oh all your posts have been great fun to read...Your all real cool people...

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's wrong with being an 11B?

Thought this name up about 9 years ago when I was big into, um... AD&D.

Thought it sounded cool, had a nice roll to it.

Apparently it means something. Dwarf or trickster, or something...
