Question So. Cal. SVTOA

I have resisted joining SVTOA because I could not see any benefit from my 40 dollars, other than making FoMoCo even richer. However, I went to the Solo2 races at Hollywood Park today and spoke to a gentleman there who was racing his Lightning. He spoke of some upcoming SVTOA events in this area which sounded very interesting; well worth 40 bucks to participate in. He suggested that I check out the So. Cal. SVTOA web site for more info. When I did a search I found the web site for the Nor. Cal. SVTOA chapter, as well as San Diego chapter, but nothing for So. Cal. Anyone in this area belong to SVTOA, or know the url for the chapter web site?

Here you go George....

p.s. George, from what I've noticed, there is still a pretty good sized fee to participate in these things...

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info, Marcus. $175 is a nice hunk of cash, but have you priced Bondurant lately?

Very true...But at least at Bondurant, it's not your vehicles brakes that you'll be frying...

That's OK, I have a set of Porterfields in the garage.
Besides, $3K will buy a lot of brakes.

Marcus, after studying the web site you pointed me to I am shocked to find out that you are not a member. Dues are only 10 bucks, and they seem to sponsor some really good events, plus interesting speakers at the meetings. I believe Steve Saleen was the last one, and the meetings are on your turf, at Galpin. ?

Strange, I'm already a member of the SVTOA? Now I have to pay more dues just to tell them that I'm in So Cal???? I'll take a look at the sight again, and see if it's worth it to me.
