Which lug nuts for racing??????
Well since the search function is down I have to ask.
I have a set of AR Baja's and want to get a set of lugs before spring. But I am not sure which ones to run. Do I have to run an open lug nut at the drag strip. Also there are tons of companies w/ 14mm lugs.......are some better or worse that others. Also what style to run......Sorry for all the questions.

They are 14mm and have a tapered seat if you are using the ARE Baja wheels. The last time I went to the track, they hassled me about them not having an open end. They were sure the lug was not engaging far enough.
The first time that I installed them, I was afraid that the lug was too short. There was plenty of engagement. I'm going to put one in the lathe, and cut the end off it. They only need to see one.
