I agree, quite an eventful day. BEAUTIFUL weather and a good day for the races. You were quite the busy guy today. Sure was great to meet these guys at Kinston. Hope they all come back again soon. I certainly didn't set any new records with my chip n'filter combo and these slick F-1's. But I did run consistant for a change. Three runs gave me a 13.11, 13.12, and 13.10 e.t.'s. I guess I'm going to have to break down and get the pulley and drag radials (after I buy two new F-1's for street use). Damn truck is just a money pit, mods, mods, mods. But it's the most fun I've ever had sober with my clothes on.

I got a personal best today, 12.69@105.6. That race was against Richard(ICULOKN). It was probably the closest race I've ever had, see attached time slip and look at margin of victory(MOV). I had a great time down there racing but also meeting a great bunch of guys. Especially Jeff (Lariat4x4), he really helped out a couple of people in a big way. One being my buddy in the supra who blew off a intercooler pipe. I'm looking foward to racing w/ these guys again and possibly some others off the site.

Well I just got home. I guess I will tell the story since you all saved it for me. LOL..

I did get a new personal best on my last run... I got a 1.72 60 foot with no convertor!!! HOWEVER, right after that my drive shaft decided it wanted to drag the track. Yep broke her at the rear yoke... All I could think about was, 3 hours from home with a totaly broke truck. Then it all became clear, Jeff (lariat4by4) brought the lariat out to get me off the track. He then went to his place of work and got a tow truck for me. Next he towed me to his place of work, LOL. It just so happend that a miracle would take place next. His place of work had a Driveshaft there that I could use. I was so releaved to know I wouldnt have to tow my truck 3 hours from Kinston, NC to Richmond, VA. Jeff took his own time to get my truck off the track, towed, and running again. I owe him alot. He is a$$ though, He wouldnt take any money from me and I really felt bad, He did let me buy him dinner and I will buy the next few times I am there as well. He is a great guy and I need to THANK him ALOT!!!

Next I need to Thank Mike (Mbrown) for bringing me the race gas and helping me change my tires. Y2K Bolt helped me change my tires as well. I thank all of you ALOT for helping my broke up A$$ to make a few passes before my little problem.

I really enjoyed meeting you all today, I did have fun even though my luck was down. Mike got me on the tree as you can see in the timeslip

I will say for other racers. Get a driveshaft loop, it saved my truck from getting destroyed!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!

Kochie Krook,

I saw you there man I didnt get to speak since I was getting all the stuff ready to be towed. Your truck looks good man... I hope you got some good times today as well!!

I'm glad you had a fairly good day. At least you didn't get hurt or something.

By the way, this was the first time I had my ET Streets on since I did my latest mods. The truck is making some SERIOUS power now. On the first run with Mbrown, My truck acutally spun the tires in 2nd gear on the ET streets. When I saw that on video I decided to do a better burnout. On the 3rd run I had a GREAT 60 foot, but when she hit 2nd that time it all let loose. I was amazed even though it ended my raceday. It was fun getting together and the events today proved once again, F150.com guys are top notch. Mbrown & Crew, Lariat4X4, and Y2Kbolt really helped me alot today!!!

Mbrowns friend had a TT supra that is a real sleeper. Looks like a car with exhaust??? LOL It went a High 12 pass @117!! He needs some Drag radials for sure!!
