Eventfull Day at Kinston!!!!!!

Glad you made it back safely to Richmond. What a bummer, crippled and broke down 180 miles from home. Jeff is for sure a number one guy (and a great mechanic). You were in the right place at the right time for car trouble.
Too bad you could not finish that last run, you were off to one hellava' start. I believe that race program would have given you what you were hoping for.
Try to get back down here again before the temps start rising. The next 2 months will be prime racing weather and the track will be hooking good. Enjoyed watching you guys run.

Jeff took his own time to get my truck off the track, towed, and running again. I owe him alot. He is a$$ though, He wouldnt take any money from me and I really felt bad

no problem at all,
just pay it forward....
I have a few passes that are recorded good but my brother didn't know to let the camera run a little long so you dont cut out the last half of the race when recording the next. Jimmy called this morning and said the same thing happened w/ him. The girl that was running his camera thought the race was over at the 1/8th so he has no full 1/4 mile run either. Richard, I'm glad to see you got home alright. Jimmy said that you guys were going out to eat so I tried to call and find out where but my nextel wouldn't get service there. Oh well, maybe next time. Heres a pic for you. Its too bad a guy w/ a broke hand and plates in his leg can't get no help changing tires. hahahaha
Yeah, he pulled off the street up to the line and was the last car to run...........I think it was high 12's @116. I need to find out why everyone in the country w/ my times are running 2mph faster. Did you have a t/b, I didn't even look.
Mike,
My mods yesterday were, Chip/Filter/Ram Air/6lb/Line Valve/Cat Back/Denso's/ and the aperance stuff. What plugs do you have in? You would leave me hard (Since I was Mr Sleepy Light Yesterday) and right near the end I was coming back by. I think the MPH mainly is due to the 26in tall tires vs the 28.3 F1's. If you could make yoru truck hook on the F1's I think you would see a 12.40 or 50 with 107 or 108 MPH. When the new 28in slicks come out its going to be a whole new game for alot of trucks. You will see alot of times dropping I think...

I know, I cant wait for the 28's. I just put in the tr-5's a few weeks ago. I checked them right before I went to the track and they looked perfect. I also have the #4, chip, filter, 01 mass air, and that cool little filter on the oil fill tube. I think maybe the catback you have was giving you the mph over me. Either that or your truck being about 2" off the track.
One funny thing was seeing my L on video on the back of your tow truck Jeff. Me wheels looked like they were turing backwards. It was so sweet looking!! LOL, I am looking for high points from yesterday...
The main thing is I made some GREAT new friends and had some fun. Racing is fun, even when you break. PAY TO PLAY!!!!!
