TBER,

I am pretty sure both of them are were running around 4lb's of extra boost when they ran those times. They have some great 60 foot times. Best I did on my F1's was a 12.62 @106 with a filter/ram air/ chip/ 3lb lower. I got down to a 12.50 @109 with Et Streets and the same mods. When you see the 28 in tall tires being used more. You will see some serious drops with the drag radials & slicks!!

hey ICU

I don't know if you know this or not, but I'm the guy that talks to you on IM as BerTerrence, Yes!, The one who wants those Wheels

I think I could potentially be happy w/ Low 12's on F1's

or on 20's

Best I went on the 20's was a 12.73 @ 107. Had a 2.0 60 foot. I wish I could get them down further. That was with the 3lb as well..

Hi tber
First off thanks for the compliment.

Here is what I was running when I did the 12.45
JDM flip chip
Filter
Breather
Electric fan
2# lower JDM Pulley
Metco Upper Pulley
Cobra throttle body
NGK TR6 Spark Plugs
Transmision line mod
4x4 transmision pan and filter
JDM traction bars
and a home made ram air set up.

The 12.45 was run on one of those perfect days where the air was cool, and the track was hooking up very good. Most days I ran in the 12.6 range.

I am very happy with all the mods I have on my truck. Jim and all the guys at JDM have really helped me with my truck. Just recently I pulled the spark plugs which had been in my truck for 15,000 miles and they looked allmost perfect. If I were to add any one other mod it would be a set of long tube headers.

Infact I am so happy with the work they do that my truck is at there shop right now getting a bunch of new mods.

I am adding
Long tube headers
High flow cats
torque converter
and having them beef up my engine.

I think I am close to the limit of what I can get for times with the stock F1 tires so this season I will be switching to some new tires for racing.

So this season when you see new times for me remember they will be on slicks, and I will have long tube headers, a torque converter, and a newly built engine.

I hope that helps you out, and look foward to seeing you run time close to if not better than what I ran last year.

Don

When are the hoosiers supposed to be available? Oh yea, what time do you think i can run with the following mods (see sig) at cecil? And what hoosier tire are you going with, the 15 or 16 in rim?

Hey Spanky

I was going to go with the 16" Hoosiers, but since my home track decided to only allow DOT tires on Friday nights the 16" slick is out for me. They still haven't decided what size quick time pro they are going to make in the 16" sixe, so I decided to go with a 15" rim.

The tires in the pic are
28x13.50-15's
