Some of you may be aware that Cal Club is running their first Solo 2 event of the year at Hollywood Park (why do they call it Hollywood Park when its in Inglewood?) this weekend. Practice Saturday, championship Sunday. I had given some thought to entering, but I was having issues with the truck, and decided I wanted to scope it out first, anyway. I think I will drive the VW over there Sunday and check it out. Spoke to Jay Lincoln today (thanks for the lunch) and he said he might attend Sunday, too. So, for anyone who might be interested in doing this, CSCC is having an event every month; now's your chance to check it out.

 

You might want to check the weather forecast, it is supposed to rain for the next few days, staring Saturday. Could be a bleak time. Otherwise, I am with you, go down and have a look before I commit to too many events or participation.
