Need help with removing

Unhappy Need help with removing

I just got in the bassani cat-back. I can't get the T hander bracket off or the urethane hangers off the old system. What is the best way to do this? Any help would be greatly be appreciated

You need to remove the heat shields and then you can get to them from the top.

Well apparently I'm doing this the hard way. Nothing new I guess!!! I arleady have the shield off. I'm laughing at myself right now,b/c I haven't even got the muffler off. Thats my real problem. I thought I maybe able to remove the bracket and muffler in one. So how did you get the muffler off? Did you remove the hangers first and how? Thanks alot Chikenears Dageon

Loosen the front clamps and wiggle the muffler loose. You might need a torch to heat them but we didn't. I hope you're using a lift, it makes it so much easier.

The muffler has to be out of the way in order to get to the hanger bolts.

Talking Chikenears You Are The Man!!!!!

Wow!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, about not getting back. I just wanted to get it done before it gets to dark. That was in a word exhausting .I appreciate you jacking up your truck for the pics. That was out of your way. I owe you a few suds. It took a light longer than I thought but well worth it .The sound and the tips are amazing. I can't wait to get more time on the mufflers to hear what they going to sound like. Again and Again Chikenears is the man. I owe you one or two.... Dageon
