Shutting down the Overdrive

I mostly drive with the Overdrive off...especially around town. It becomes annoying to keep pushing the button every time you start the vehicle. Can the chip be programmed to default overdrive to off and switched into overdrive manually?

In other words...Reverse

I asked JDM if mine could be set up to shift into O/D at a higher RPM and was told "no". Or, maybe he just didn't want to change 'his' program?

I too frequently shift out of O/D when driving at 40 mph or below because I don't want it 'lugging' and I have 'cold' BR7EF plugs and a 160 thermostat. Surprisingly, my mpg has actually increased to 15+ mpg on the last full tank refill.

Good grief! I filled mine up yesterday and calculated 12.4 MPG. I keep telling myself "I'm going to take it really easy on this tank" to see how much of an improvement I can get, but it never works!

It could easily be done with a chip burn. I have mine shifting into OD at 60 mph.
