Working on new mod for my L.

I got board today and started making a new mod for my L.

It is a cold air, double ram air box for an open end filter. I think she should be worth a few ponies. I am waitng for the fiberglass to dry. I still need to put ends and adaptors on it for the ram air, but it is looking pretty decent right now. I will post pics as soon as im done.

Do you guys think I'll pick up any power with this?

I will definatley post a diagram when I am done. It takes a lot of patience and a little skill. The whole thing is fiberglass and will be a completely sealed off box except for the ram air hoses.

A couple of weeks ago, someone posted photos of removing the front bumper and routing that air thru the fog light holes. The pas. side went up behind the front license plate. It looked like a nice job.

see https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ighlight=water The trick is to get enough air in to keep the vacuum of the air feeding the air filter in the 3 - 5 inches of water range or lower and still feed 100% cold air at the same time. I can tell you that two 3" lines will most likely not be enough. The other problem is getting those lines up to the filter witout moving water lines from the bottom of the motor bay.

Hope this helps

Andy
