Is a 2000 and a 2001 have the same size grill

I just got a grill from street scene and they sent it for a 2000 I have a 2001 it does not seem to fit are these two models diferent

you need the contact chikenears on this one , he did a 2001 speed grille, I think it looks great, but he is forever the perfectionist

I have a 2001 and faced the same problem you have. The SS grille is too big for the opening if you try to use the original grille frame, cutting out the horizontal and verticle bars. I got mine in that way but I don't reccommend it.

What I DO reccommend is the method that RTKILLA and TampaSVT used. They took the entire original grille out and installed the SS grille with pull ties. This method is different in the respect that the SS grille is now too small for the opening. They "gently" stretched/bent the edges out to fit, drilled small holes, and used pull ties.

Here's a pic of mine. You do not want to leave any of the original grille in. Notice, in mine, that the grey edge of the original grille is still there. I'm going to redo it as soon as I get a chance.
