help me out guys with this survey!!!

The more that I see stories bout blown engines the more I wonder which year frequents blown engines more?? 99's, 00's, 01's or now 02's.........please help me out here......if you feel uneasy about telling me email me @ svtlightning2394@aol.com......thanks........Keith

I have 10,000 miles on #621 of 2001.

Non-Blown/ Non-experimental.

It sure seems alot of 2001's are blowing...I wonder if it is the extra 20hp? I'm sure none of the engines that have blown were modified.

I hate to say it guys, but in alot of cases we have setup a recipe for desaster by continuously finding ways to twist them tighter and not reinforcing the internals to support the additional power. I know $5695 for a new Lightning engine seems like a lot of money, however, to have one built to take the abuse we put them through could double that. This is not intended to flame anyone. Just my .02 cents.
