First time to track

Just got back from my first trip to the track: Sacramento Raceway, had a blast. Went out there, and there were 3 other L's. Mine(Black) another '00 Black with slicks on it, A '01 white one with 175hp shot of NOS, and a '01 Silver one(Psp equipped). To say the least, I was ecsatic about my times. My only mods on my 2000 L are a DiabloSport Chip by JL and the 90mm MAF and his Air induction Kit by JL. On my first run, my reaction time was really crappy, but managed a 13.37. Second run, even worse reaction time, but ran a 13.288. Third run, ran against the white L, better reaction time this go, but his was much better, but I ran a 13.158. The last run I took, I ran the white L again, and this time my reaction time was great. Took off about the same time, and ran about a foot ahead of him almost the whole way, hmm... that is until he let the nitrous kick in, and shot up past me at the very end. However, on that best run I ran a 13.084 with the tailgate down. To say the least, I was VERY happy with my times, (I was expecting high to mid 13's) Track conditions were great, 55 degrees, traction was so-so. But had a great day, and learned a ton by talking to other L owners. Hmm...looking to break into the 12's next time..... I'll post some pics later if I can.

Congrats shadow........

That 4lb pulley and those gears will put you in the 12s--if you can get traction !

Hey Shadow Lightning,

That sounds like you had a really great time, way to go.

I have a question for you. I see you have the Bassani cat-back. Is it a whole lot louder than stock?
I want one that has a deeper tone and somewhat louder than stock, but still within legal Db limits.

Thanks,
FireGuy
