detroit auto show

just checked out the auto show today and rather upset there was no L in it at all,,, but it has to be the best auto show i have ever been to, this year there are a lot of things that are just cool to see, the new volkswagen W motors, the new ram v-10 srt, along with the other srt's,,, plus the focus svt, the chevy ssr, and yeah i'm spooked by circus folk, but even though it was spooky, the jeep and chrysler and dodge exhibits actually wowwed me, its something you just dont forget when you get back, i mean we're talking a full fledged circus trapezes and other guys hanging from the ceiling of cobo hall. Also can't miss the jeep rubicon, it was a very good show this year and after years of being let down at the auto show i can finally say this one was the best.

Also today i'd like to give a shot out to Detroit, its come a long way in recent years, spent before and after the auto show in greaktown ( no L cause of snow though) but the city looked great today with its 3 inch coat of snow.

Plus extra shot out to gt40,, that is one fine peice of engine, although i wonder why it even has a muffler exhaust system at all,, the headers look like they could just be long enough to stick straight out the back, way cool if you ask me.

That's odd they didn't have an L there. Every year they show prep all the production vehicles in my building. There was a Red 2002 L out there for a couple days. I would've figured a True Blue, but red is the more striking color.

What'd you think of the Maruader?

There was a red L there a week ago today, sitting near the corner closest to the door, next to a supercharged H-D. I was dissapointed, I wanted to see True Blue, too.

Sad to say but when I went to the Philadelphia auto show ford didn't have alot. I was expecting to get my first glimpse of the 2002 true blue. I was disapointed.

SAMIAM153,
If you want to see an '02 true blue, Bayshore Ford on Rt. 13 in New Castle, DE has one in the lot. Don't be fooled, although they only sell trucks (commercial, too), they are a SVT dealer (although they can only sell the L). Because they are a truck dealer, they can't sell cobras or focus SVTs' (focii ???). I bought my '00 L from them and I think that they have one of the best service depts. in the area. The '02 True Blue probably won't be going anywhere this weekend due to the snow forcast (4"- 6"). Take Rt. 495 south into DE and get off the Rt. 13 exit. It will be on your right (west side) hand side of Rt. 13.
