Painted rear window trim?

Well.......

I guess what I'm getting at, I just don't want my truck in the hands of somebody else.

I want to remove it take it and get it painted.

So what I'm getting at is, can you remove the trim yourself without taking the back window out?

The trim is what holds the window on... You wouldn't be able to drive it if you remove the trim.

I'm not driving it right now anyway, in storage.

I hate winter, I'm in Omaha Nebraska.

Would the window just fall out?

Yep.

There's some icky black glue sealing it in, but I wouldn't trust it to hold the window.

I'm gonna have too look at it.

I have a one piece window on the way and getting ride of the slider.

And wanted to paint the trim.

Just seeing if I could save myself some money by doing the labor myself.
