LOL I was going to ask that same question. Glad I read through the thread

1) His parents were rich so he got hand me down money
2) He won the lotto
3) He made it fast in the stockmarket
4) Owns his own company
5) He stole the cars
6) The cars are really his parents, he lives at home, but he tells us that they are his.
7) He is going to avoid this question like the devil and never post here again.

Edit: and should I also post this... If you can afford all those other toys, then why get a used L?

You die hard L fans aren't going to like this but if I had that kind of money I would be in a Ferrari and not an L

you'd have to get a lift kit for that ferrari , to drive it in Nawlins. i saw Copeland leave some of his lambo on Clearview one day when he encountered one of the road "imperfections"

I just found his first mod
http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...2620#post72620

This is the type of work JDM does, holly ***** is that sweet.

As for buying a used Lightning, it would be a great idea if you are going to build a new motor, and beef up the trans. If you can buy a good L and save 7-10 grand over a new one, you can then use that money to do it up right.

I need to add, "because number 6 is true" to the end of 7.

I also need to add a few more

8) He is a drug dealer
9) He is a contract killer

Edit: Ok I figured it out. He's been driving around dad's 80k BMW and finally his daddy said, "Son, congratulations for getting that degree. Here is some money. Get yourself your own car and get the hell outta mine!"

So now he wants an L.

Krix330cic(NJ) - don't worry, we'll take of you. And have you spend more then you want. See the problem with Lightnings is:
1. they look great so you want to make them look even better
2. they are powerfull and quick so you want to make them faster
3. they handle great for a truck so you want to make it handle better.
really where to start with the mods? I say chip, filter, shift kit, lowering kit, brakes, and appearance for the first wave. And don't forget protection such as wet okole's and a bedrug.

By them way, I live in Piscataway.

gambinotdx - whats up, whens the 02' coming in?

Smile LOL...

Some of you guy's are a roit!!

Before i have to explain myself to those that have already passed judgement on my age, income, toys etc... I just got in from work (3pm to 5am shift) and have to laugh at the coments made by some of you, lol! I'm use to it though, i get that kinda crap from people all the time...

To those that are in NJ and to those that have been nothing but helpful(THANKS!!), I would for sure like to hookup and visit these places in NJ I never even knew existed! Cool!...
And for it being daddy's 80k BMW, nah wrong again, "Daddy" has a 840ci BMW of his own to play with. And since when is it a bad thing to want to save money by purchasing a leftover or pre-owned vehical with less then 5k miles?
Guess you just have to PROVE some thing's to SOME people..

I got an idea, how about when I do meet these guy's that want to show me the L's that are local.. let THEM tell you all about me instead.. sucks how some people have to judge someone only by what they got for their age.. Here's some pic's of the car and my spec sheet on it...

SUMMERTIME FROM BIMMERFEST @ RUTGERS
and PICTURE IN THE FALL WITH HARD TOP ON.. as soon as my other work is complete, and i get it back from the shop, i will get some good close up pic's of the 7 monitors installed playin a DVD..

There, does that make some of YOU guy's happy? Oh and lol, it's not going to be "#7, will probally be his last time posting here..." This place is just what i'm looking for!
