Krix330cic(NJ) - that BMW looks awfully familiar, what part of central Jersey are you from? You can email me if you don't want to post that here: dontblameme@yahoo.com

I'm also in central NJ, if you ever want to head up to JDM's shop in Freehold I can't let you know when I'm going up.

No I haven't, but I would like to see some pics of it if you have them. I wanted to get one of those a while back when they first came out. Its sick how fast the money goes into your vehicles huh! That the main reason I haven't moved out of my house yet, with a 60K+ Lightning thats not close to being completed yet, a new 7k dirt bike, and a 12K home theater in my room I'm so damn broke! I've just been thinking about all the money I have spent onthis stuff and I can't stop thiking that I could have a my own house at the age of 20 right now if I never bought this truck, but then again what fun would that be.

P.S. Since your a whippersnapper, You seem like the perfect CFO for the gang. Its all yours if you want the title.

Talking I'll take the title..

LOL, but what's it stand for??

I know what you mean about spendin' bro.. i'm a youngin' and just love new toys!

What bike did you just get? I have a 2001 Yamaha Raptor that i've sunk some money into.. it get's pulled by the Yukon with sum small little 20" MKW's..

I hear the house thing everyday.. especially when a close to $80,000 BMW just sit's in the garage.. waiting for show's and the nice weather.

There is hope! I've met loads of cool guys from this site that are in NJ and know lot's about L's.. so if i'm lucky, I'll have something sweet for people to look at while they drool over the BMW at shows, LOL!

Well I went the other route with my bike. I bought a 2002 CRF450R! I love this bike though, its so much fun and its just so god damn FAST! 3rd and 4th gear riding wheelies around is just sick!

Only bad thing about it is that I have the need to modify it but theres not to much stuff out for it yet, since its a brand new bike.

For now I added the Renthal Double walls, upper triple clamps, works connection clutch and hot start lever, grips, 51 tooth chain wheel, fast air lowered foot pegs, pro seal air intake, and thats about it. I'm looking at a couple new exhaust systems right now for it, but I'm not sure what I want. The yoshimura looks sweet, but I also like the way the Big gun exhaust looks and sounds too! I was thinking about getting the woody sticker kit for it, but that might look stupid on it. This is one ricer that I'm supposed to sticker up, HAHAHHAHAHA.

CFO, means Chief Finacial Officer.
I'm the president, and captain is the vice. He has to make all the decision's, I just site back and chill with all my hoes and my cigars! HAHAHHA

Well if your looking to make your truck into a show piece and a racing beast at the same time This is the best website in the world to do that. You fnd any other L in the World thats got Riches beat in the Looks department (I'll still smoke your a$$ though). RobG has a incredible truck too, THE HOOTER MOBILE! No matter what anyone else says this is the #1 site for L's, I'll stake my life on it over and over again.

Glad to have you allong for the ride.

So what are you looking for exactly, speed, looks, sounds?

Krix330cic - so you're 22 years old, own a Lightning and have 10,000 to put into mods, a Yukon with chrome 20"s, a bike, AND an $80,000 BMW 330 cic? may i ask what you do for a living if you don't mind?!!? more importantly, i work in edison in raritan center. i ordered a 2002 true blue L. it's expected to arrive in about 2 months. i can't wait to get it. perhaps we can run them together??

That one is so easy for me. Along the lines of Don's Bolt response, for 10 large and your motor I bet you could get Jim at JDM to build you up a 32V motor and blower that would put out more power than anything on this board except for the other 32V motors. Very elite stuff and I can't wait to see a picture of those big heads in the engine bay of an L.

Wink

I think that everyone here has given you some really good Ideas, but I think if you want the lightning to fit in with the rest of your modded toys you will need about 25G's of spare cash to get it right. If you live in Jersey than there should be no question, go to JDM in Freehold.
