lightning vs. contour?
Ok, here's the deal. There is this guy around my town that claims his brother-in-law has some kind of high-performance contour (I believe) that will run like 160 mph or something. That was all he said about the car other than he could beat my stock L with this stock contour. Does any of you know the specs on this (limited edition) contour that this guy might have and how fast they are. Was just wondering what kind of smack he is talking. Btw, I dont think he realizes just how quick these 5,000 lbs. trucks are. thanx for the info.

Ok guys thanx for the info.lmao. I thought this guy was a bullsh$ter, especially when he said it would run 160mph. I guess I will let him keep talking ---- until I hand him his a$$ in a 1/4 drag out. Might can talk him into upping the stakes a bit. Oh well, looks like its going to be fun, for me anyway. thanx for the info. I knew I could count on you all for fast replys. I will let you know how it turns out when I meet up with him.later

There is not a road course in the world that would afford the contour a chance in a RACING environment. The L is too fast off the corners, too fast down the straights, and can be made far too wide for the contour to pass. The only chance it would have is comparing lap times. Thats great for qualifying, but in a real world racing environment the L would win every time.
Unless, Ayrton Senna was in the contour, which even when he was alive he wouldn't drive.....Unless you had extremely deep pocket$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to have afforded him.
