Screwed by Walker Ford!
Actually I'm going to take the truck so that Mr. Frank Walker doesn't get it. It's the principle, he has to wait I thought about this for along time. Also I'm on 'A' plan 39,000 truck for 32,000 limited edition. There not going to make much. BTW. They know I'm serious now and are doing everything they can to fix it.

So what is the moral of your story. Mr. Wlaker is out nothing and has a full lot of vehicles to drive that are new while he waits. Now he has your money too and the 4% kick back at the end of the year. I think he is the winner. Just my humble opinion. I am sure Mr. Wlaker will not loose any sleep over it .

You know this is exactly, what I hate about dealers.
I am so sick of **** poor customer service, it makes me want to puke!
I went through a similar issue with a dealer here in Arizona. (Berge Ford BTW)
My wife and I ordered a 2002 Lightning a couple of months ago.
Long story short:
We walk in, let the sales person know we are interested in a 2002 Lightning under "X" plan.
We have EAA membership, and a PIN ready to go.
We get approval from sales person, and manager.
We ask again, will this work? YES, no problem.
Get MSRP on a 2002, with a THIRD approval.
Put $500.00 down ona 2002
We wait a month and a half.
Get a phone call, can't do "X" plan on a "L"?
WTF? We were approved!? No "X" plan on SVT's
Uh, we have money down on one, that YOU approved.
G.M. said "No"
Suddenly Sales manager is a d%ck, and completely turns a 180degrees.
They offer $1000.00 off a new one. B.S.!!!
NO WAY! That is not the point, and $1000.00 off is a slap in the face.
I wrote numerous E-mails to the G.M. and Ford, with no resolution. Just a bunch of "we're sorry" B.S.
This is exactly the kind of crap that dealers fork out day after day.
They seem to not give a crap about the customer and more about the bottom line than anything!!
I will eventually write the BBB, but it won't make a bit of difference. There is no recourse for SH**ty service anymore!

If it was me I would get my money back and go up the street to Freedom Ford. I bought my L from them. I walked in, told them I wanted an L and I wanted X plan. They showed me the 2 that had just come in, still under wraps. I told them I would take the Silver one as it is the fastest and all the paperwork was done. Everyone treated me great and I even got a check in the mail two weeks later due to the fact they calculated the price for tags wrong. I would never have known but they did the right thing without being forced to.
That is the kind of dealer I want to do business with. I have heard other stories about Walker so that is why I decided not to do business with them.

I received a call from Bill Hudz(sp?) today at Walker Ford. Frank Walker wanted to know where I posted so they could read what I wrote. He should be showing up shortly. Give him a big thumbs up for me. :-)

I hope he sees mine too. I called Walker 3 or 4 times and they would not even tell me if they had an L on the lot or when one would come in. They said I had to come in and put my name on a list and they would call me. I wanted silver and the saleman I spoke to on the phone told me I would take what they had when they called me or go to the bottom of the list.
I didn't get treated like this at Freedom. Maybe when they start losing business they will focus more on customer service.

Walker Ford still owes me a a whopping $26 for a tank of gas reimbursement. When I bought my L, thier gas pumps were empty, so the salesman, Joey Z, said fill it up and bring me the receipt, they will send you a check. I dropped off the receipt a few days later. After god knows how many phone calls and messages to Joey Z, and the used car manager, and many months later, I still have nothing.
I have had good luck with thier service dept, but will never return to buy another vehicle from them.
