Deer Damage New Pics
Anybody have problems with this hood fitting right. The body shop just got the hood in yesterday, so I went to see how it came out and to snap a few pics with the company's digi camera.

Note the shortness of the hood. It's closed but doesn't seem to come up all the way.


Also the passenger side is too tight. Will have to do some shaving. Hopefully not much.


Just wanted to know if anybody else with the AAD F-1 hood had similar(sp) problems?

 

I hit a dog but didn't do that much damage man am i glad!!

 

Is that the deer laying on your dash?

 

I am not seeing any pics.. I am getting ready to have mine painted. I have had it for over a year for my 99 and never put it on.
What was done to correct any prob. you had?

 

Mocklab- Yeah I had the same problems with my AAD F-1 hood. I had to have the hood painted 3 times to get all the pin holes out of the hood. The hood was extremely rough. When the hood arrived one corner was cracked. Also there was a 1/4 inch gap in the front on the hood. The hood looks killer on my L but it was sure one headache to get it right. Plus the owner of AAD wasn't helpful at all. I did end up getting a $100.00 refund for my trouble but it took 2 months to get and repeated phone calls. I would shop else where if I was looking for a cowl hood!
