That cover on top of the tailgate

Has yours gotten so scratched up that you went on and replaced it?

If so, was it expensive? Much trouble to get the old one off and install the new one? Did you go another route?

Unhappy I second that inquiry.

Boots,

Apparently, Cervini's makes a 'lip' spoiler for the tailgate yet I'm not sure if I like it or its cost.

My OEM piece needs replacing on my truck as well. gouged during my recent move...

I replaced mine on my Y2K and it was $30 at the ford dealer,It snaps right on and right off no problems

Thanks for the replys guys.

I have a LineX liner in my bed. I was thinking about having the gate top done too. That spot is subject to abuse. However, I am thinking it would look funny unless I do the side rails too.

For $25 or so, it probably is better to replace the gate top now and then.
