You have to have a 1/2 breaker bar. You may even need to hit it a few times with a hammer. Many have broke bars trying to get it off. If I remember right it is reverse thread I think? Double check that!!! Put some elbow grease behind it man!!

ICULOKN i gotthat all done. Thank you but i do have one more question. I'm putting in an air intake system and it came with no instructions. It is a JL system. It came with 2 conector pieces one looks like it will fit but the other doesn't look right for anything. There is also some sensor of some sort right in the middle of the stock intake system. What is it? and do you take all of the stock intake system off.

RFRat16,

Get JL to fax/mail you the instructions if you havent figured it out by now, sorry i wetn to bed. You do replace most of the parts up to the stock rubber boot. Some of the stock parts are reused.

Have you figured it out?

there are 2 nuts and 1 bolt holding the cage on , with JL instructions remove the bolt and 2 nuts, cage will follow. reinstall the 2 nuts and leave bolt out, put it with old parts, the remove 3 bolts holding flange inside of balancer. install new pulley with the 3 supplied allen head bolts and tighten , I cannot remember torque , maybe 30-50 not sure.

hope this helps
Don
