Red face The horror!

Well, first time after 28,000mi, I scratched the bottom of my front valence on something! AAAAA!

There is nothing as aweful as the sound of hearing your valenance hit something.... I hope never to hear that nosie again.

Fortuantely, it was totally on the bottom, so you can't see any of the scratches from the front, and they're not bad. When I go to get my valence painted for rock chips in a few months I'll see about getting it all fixed up.

Daniel

If it makes you feel better I have to replace my front grille and bumper cover.

Aw hell,I've become a front valance specialist.I might be a little too aggressive in traffic but I've become a pretty good body man.

I cant count the number of times our L has been in the body shop to get the front facia fixed. When we took off the one that came with the truck and put on a new one, the old one weighted 8Lbs more than the new one.

You would be amazed of how many get damaged coming off the transporter at the dealer. Bob.

Unhappy

Yeah, mine got scratched when they were loading it on the flatbed to take to the shop for the new tranny. I am too ashamed to drive it now because I know if I do people will crawl underneath and observe the scratches, and let me know that I am not worthy to drive this vehicle, which truly belongs in the Museum of Modern Art and not on the road.

I managed to take a wide swath of paint off my rear bumper the other day backing out the waverunners. Jack-Knifed the trailer and heard that terrible sound. I made to 27,700 miles without a scratch. Now i need to find a good paint man in West Palm

I too feel unworthy to drive the beast, but it still calls me from the driveway...."drive your spurs into me and ride me like the wind"
