raced a Z06 tonight in my navigator and won.

trying to get everyones attention.
i really did race one though and
let me tell you, those things look good from the back.
what really happened though is the strangest thing.
i went to Sam's wholesale to get gas cause they have their 93 for 89 cents.
on my way back i passed this Z06 pullin out of kroger.
i look over and see this black guy driving.
im thinking, damn this guy looks familiar.
turns out he was the same guy i met at the illegal street raced in memphis about 2 months ago.
he raced a hyabusa and just about beat him.
he has over 700hp in the Z06.
it is loud as *****.
turns out this guy lives right by me and i didnt even know it.
these street raced are about 30 miles from my house behind some old warehouses.
looks like i have found a new friend.
i have a video of him racing the cycle i have to take to him tomorrow.
if bulldog will do it, i will email it to him and let him put it on his site like he did the one with me and damon doing 140.

its not that hard to get it either.
look on ebay. there are mustangs on their with 1200hp at times.
the Z06 has 405 stock. i dont know what he has done to it or if he is just running stock.
all i know is it is fast as hell and his friend said he had 700hp.
even if he doesnt though it is still possible to achieve this.

Was the Hayabusa stock? There are turbocharged/nitroused stret legal Busa's out there that are pushing 450 horsepower and running in the mid to low 8s in the quarter mile...Anyway, I have respect for any car that can keep up with a stock superbike, let alone a modded one!

not sure if the busa was stock or not. i doubt it was. i think he was running nitrous cause it kept making a hissing noise. like this "psttttttttpssssstttttt"
does that sound like nitrous to anyone.
the Z06 had a 10 car lenght head start for one thing. still it was a close race.

I thought he was in charge of keeping you from saying dumb things like John Lingenfelter lives in Memphis. LOL.
There is a Lingenfelter Z06 in Memphis that is owned by one of the founders of Hypertech, Mark Heffington. Twin-turbo Z06, that is. Saw it at the Sonic thursday night cruise-in last fall. He had just returned from the Hot Rod power tour. Pretty bad-***.
Imagine racing him at about a 60 mph punch after he's spooled up. Whoa!
