Don, not to flame you or anything, but the Rancho/JDM peice is not the best. It may be in your opinion, but it isn't the best over everytning.

bigstallion,

As Spike said, do a search. I and along with many other people have given much information about traction bars of many differant designs. Search for "Traction Bars" in the Lightning only forum and search by thread title.

I went with the Truck-Traks and am very happy with them. I was worried that the JDM bars would contact my exhaust or I probably would have went with them. Turns out that the Borla system I'm running leaves me a lot more room to work with than the stock or Bassani systems do and I probably could have run the JDM kit instead. The Truck-Traks are excellent all the same.

BigStallion, check out the Truck-Traks. Click on the website in my signiature.

They are a true bolt on "slapper" style of traction bar similar to the Lakewood. These have been designed specifically for the Lightning truks. Both the bars and the hardware are super heavy duty.

I just installed a set on a customer's truck tonight. I took about 20 minutess from start to finish.

They are available on the east coast from Sal at Power Surge Performance.
