tech. question

Does anyone know what the unused plug behind the drivers side front grill is for, you can see it if you look down thru the headlamp release lever.

I don't have my voltage tester with me tonight but if memory serves me I think it has a constant voltage on it or it energizes with the ignition on but I know its not tied to the lites in any way would a diagnostic port have voltage on it?

O/T.....but related?

Does anyone know what the tiny(about 1/16" i.d.) air/vacuum tube is for that comes off the bottom of the intake boot and runs back alondside the s/c? Not the 'big' tubes that go to the cam cover or plenum.....

Dan

I don't know, did it have voltage when you tested it?

LIGHTNINROD,
The black vacuum line you are referring to goes to the boost actuator on the side of the S/C.

Seriously.

Did we ever figure out what that thing was?

If it's hot, I'm hooking up strobes to it...
