Will Lighting head unit and cd changer work in f150?

Will Lighting head unit and cd changer work in f150?
My father's 01 F150 only has a cd player and does not have a tape player so he wants mine when I replace it. My question is, will my head unit be able to just plug and go along with the cd changer?

The radio will work with no problems, the only thing that may be a problem is if the CD changer cable is in place or not, you may have to get one of them and run it where you want to mount the changer!!

Oh I know that part. My cabs coming back apart again 
. So that won't be a problem removing mine, but I just want to find a place where I can mount it on his that I won't have to pull any carpet.
