im in the market now for a used L and i was wondering what i should keep my eye out for when buying one... are there any common problems i should look for besides normal wear? also what it the most cost effective mod...( chip, exhaust, pulleys?) oh and on the exhaust what is the deepest sounding exhaust avalible for the L's,,,,, or which sound the best?

If you can't swing a new one..then your best bet would be to buy an already modded 99-00 as far as cost to performance go's. As for what to look for...your on your own when it comes down to it. The best sounding exhaust is the long tube/hi flow/cat back of your choice and this would by far be the best performing also.
