How would the H3's get wired up in the projector? Would you have to run a new set of wires?

The H3 projectors come with the wiring and switch. Very easy to install. The light output on the projectors is awesome.

I noticed the auction site is closed. Is this the regular price from procarparts and are they readily available.

Techincally, thats not a projector headlight.

Projector headlights use a lense to disperse the beam pattern as opposed to a reflector headlight, like our stock or the regular bulb in that light.

The H3 there is considered a "fog" light, so its a projector fog with a standard reflective headlight.

I've been waiting for a REAL projector headlight kit to come out, but so far, no go.

That unit is the APC headlight, so you should be able to find it at a few places...try StylinConcepts or God Father Customs...

If you bought/are buying an HID kit for that light to replace the 9007, make sure you get a D2R bulb! That is the light pattern design for a reflective enclosure...D2S is for TRUE projector lights, which that isn't.

Does the H-3 projector put out enough light to drive by at night Without using the main light?

thepawn is the totally right.

I was going to get the APC unit when I got my HID's, thinking they were real projectors but with closer inspection they were the same as our stock 2001+ headlights. Strangely the units they make for GM trucks are true projectors.

My next project will be to retro fit a HID system into my 2001 Ducati 748 motorcycle. It has stock projector headlights. Here is a pic of the true projector headlight on my Ducati:
