Ive been looking under the hood again... I thought I might check the tightness of my sparkplugs, to insure they were more than hand tight.

Is it me? or are the plugs on the TOP of the head? What the heck are they doing on the top of the head? can someone shed some light on this setup for me?

I had a mod motor cobra before the truck, however I never did any of the service myself, so am I to assume that mod motors have the plugs on the TOP of the heads? Why exactly are they there?

 

Yep, on top--kinda--right under the green-topped coil. Probably very liittle room in those small combustion chambers. Btw, the plugs are slightly slanted towards the firewall.
