K & N filter???
i disagree
if you aren't converting to one of the tuner's induction system, it is worth the money in having the ability to clean the k&n rather than buy new crappy oem ones when their dirty. Slight increase in throttle response as well. Somewhere on this board there were posts with posts backing it up that on an unmodified truck, there was just as much increase if not more on the dyno with a k&n panel with stock airbox, as if you were to put on a cone filter and remove the airbox. Again, this was on an unmodified truck.....meaning no MAF changes, pullies or chips. Search, you may find more info.
I would agree with what Tallimeca said, if you intend to mod the truck later, it may not be worth it though. K&N is like $50-60 i think?? U can get a Tuner filter kit for around $100-120?? Its up to you though....
I only like to buy things once!!!!

Either get a tuner kit
or
keep the stock airbox, put a K&N in and make your own cool air intake
Stock you won't see much from K&N filter, but give the filter the chance to breathe better, and you will notice
